The subject of the college conference in Toronto was "Amazing Grace". The brother said that we had a lot of things which we tried to overcome. I liked very much the chorus of the song which we sang in the conference. It says, "Sometimes I try and I succeed. Sometimes I try in vain. Jesus lives! Within me Jesus lives! Whatever the case my only need is simply to enjoy Him. Jesus lives! And I'm finding now. His life to me He gives!" It's so wonderful. Sometimes I try and I succeed. Sometimes I try in vain. It doesn't matter. Jesus lives! Jesus lives in me. What we need to do is just keeping coming to Him again and again.

Full Time Training PDF Print E-mail

Dear Saints,

Hallelujah for the Full Time Training! From what I have been enjoying, this feels like the best place on earth! Right now, we are covering the visions of Ezekiel in the Wednesday night ministry meetings. In Eze 1:4, we see a storm wind from the North, bringing in a great cloud with fire flashing incessantly, and in the midst of the fire, is glowing electrum. What a wonderful picture this is! The storm wind is the Spirit (Acts 2:2) and "from the North" indicates the source of the wind is from God (Psa 75:6-7a, 48:2). The cloud is the Lord's presence (Exo 40:34-38), the fire enlightens (Exo 40:38), and then it is the burning power for purging, purifying, sanctifying, and motivating in God's move. Finally, the electrum, which is a shining metal made of gold mingled with sliver, signifies the redeeming (silver) God (gold).

Testimonies from College Training 2004 PDF Print E-mail

The altar and the trench: Many times we build altars to protect ourselves. At the training we build altars, but then we come back and then come off the altar. So we need to build a trench to protect us from that. So someone comes and asks us to come watch a movie, but we can tell them that we can't because we have a trench, which is a protection from us and other people of the world. We are believers and we live with unbelievers, and this is a good thing, or else no one would get saved. So the land around the altar is the world. There were two measures of seed, and this seed is the growth. When we grow the seeds around the altar ... but the main point is that we need to build altars and we need a trench around it to protect us from this world. (Natalie)
